National Museum of Australia Car Park
We will meet at the National Museum carpark at 8:00 for a 8:15 start, note early start due to the hot weather. (Carpark is straight through the roundabout and to the left).
We will ride East past Commonwealth ave bridge, around to Kings avenue bridge where we will cross to the other side of the lake. Continuing East along Canberra avenue past Kingston and Fyshwick.
This area has quite a few roads that require stopping but after Fyshwick the ride is fairly uninterrupted until we get to Queanbeyan.
There are some ups and downs but not too challenging. We ride along the Queanbeyan part of the Molonglo river past the cemetery and under the main bridge.
We are stopping for morning tea/coffee at Country Heir, this is a great cafe and also has arts and crafts to admire. We can get to this around the back and park our bike there but please bring your locks as we can’t see the bikes from inside. Approx 30 km
