Beyond the Centenary: Voices of the Future forum

The University of Canberra will host a Voices of the Future forum from Monday 19 August to Friday 23 August.

Pedal Power ACT will have a presence on Wednesday 21 August to support ‘Change Your Mode’, where students are encouraged to ride, walk or bus to uni.

Event flyerThere will be a pre-election Q&A on Monday 19 August, hosted by ABC’s Alex Sloan, and will feature candidates from the major parties and influential business and community representatives.

Panel members include:

  • Dr Andrew Leigh MP – Federal Member for Fraser
  • Merinda Nash – Liberal Senate Candidate
  • Adam Verwey – Greens Candidate for Fraser
  • Andrew Blyth – CEO, ACT & Region Chamber of Commerce
  • Matt Grudnoff – Senior Economist, The Australia Institute
  • Katie Wilson-Wooley – ACT Coordinator, Australian Youth Climate Coalition

Those hoping to join the debate and find out where your local representatives stand on sustainability issues will need to RSVP.
