In April 2017, keen bike riders have the chance to take part in a pub crawl on two wheels that kicks off in Orange.
Starting on Sunday 30 April, and ending on Friday 5 May, there will be plenty of riding, sight-seeing and lots of fun in between.
The group will meet in Orange on Sunday 30 April and stay overnight prior to riding out on Monday 1 May.
Riders will then visit either Millthorpe or Canowindra, returning on Tuesday. Wednesday is a rest day, giving you an opportunity to engage in touristy things. Refreshed, you will head out again on Thursday to the town you missed on Monday, and return on Friday 5 May.
The cost for the 2017 Pub Crawl is $720 which includes 6 nights accommodation, 6 cooked breakfasts, 4 two-course dinners, 4 superb days of riding and some splendid company. Sunday and Wednesday dinners are not included.
Accommodation in Orange will be The Hotel Canobolas and a motel 100 metres away (owned by the Hotel Canobolas). All rooms have ensuite facilities. Dinner and breakfasts will be at the hotel. The Orange accommodation is right in the middle of the town centre. Parking is to be negotiated but car-pooling is an excellent idea to minimise the number of vehicles.
Millthorpe accommodation is all ensuite in a single motel – strangely called The Millthorpe Motel. Dinner is at the Railway Hotel (to be confirmed). Breakfast is next door at the Millthorpe Corner store and Cafe.
Canowindra accommodation is split between two establishments. The first is Eddy’s of Canowindra; a former convent that has been very tastefully refurbished. There are some ensuite rooms and some without. The rest will be housed at the Old Vic in tastefully refurbished rooms with ensuite facilities. Dinner is also at the Old Vic and breakfast will be at Eddy’s.
To get involved please contact Peter at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. You can secure your spot with a deposit of $100pppp (Per Pedal Power Person).
