Pedal Power ACT is pleased to be able to offer the Canberra cycling community a First Aid course, with a focus on cycling related skills.
This course has been designed to equip people in the sporting industry with the practical skills and knowledge to prevent and manage injuries. This course is ideal as a first time first aid or refresher course.
It will include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), common sporting injuries, medical conditions, bleeding & skin injuries and more.
A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon successful completion of the course for HLTAID003 (Provide First Aid).
The Apply First Aid Blended Learning Program enables students to learn the fundamental principles of first aid at their own pace, through an online training resource. The knowledge is then consolidated and assessed across two practical sessions.
Registration closes Wednesday 8 February 2017 (unless booked out earlier).
Where: ACT Sports House, 100 Maitland Street, Hackett ACT 2602
When: 6:00-10:00pm Monday 13 February and 6:00-10:00pm Wednesday 15 February 2017
