This course has been designed to equip people in the sporting industry with the practical skills and knowledge to prevent and manage injuries – we have requested a focus on cycling specific skills. This course is ideal as a first time first aid or refresher course.
A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon successful completion of the course for HLTAID003 (Provide First Aid).
The Apply First Aid Blended Learning Program enables students to learn the fundamental principles of first aid at their own pace, through an online training resource. The knowledge is then consolidated and assessed across two practical sessions.
Course content: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Common Sporting Injuries, Medical Conditions, Bleeding & Skin Injuries and more.
Course duration: 4-8 hours (e-learning) PLUS two 4 hour practical workshops.
