Advance Bike Maintenance Course

Pedal Power is conducting an Advance Bike Maintenance Course this February.  The Advance course builds on the intermediate course with more detailed adjustments and repairs to brakes, gears, pedals, bearings, wheels and more using specialised tools. Nominate for Council in 2012

Your chance to nominate for Council 2012

The Council (acting as the Board of Directors) sets Pedal Power's policy and the general direction of the organisation.  We are looking for new blood to enliven the organisation.  Please consider joining Council and thus having a direct say in the direction of Pedal Power.  There are ten members of the Council: namely, President, Vice Presidents (two), Secretary and Treasurer and five Council positions. All positions are up for election at the AGM on 21 February 2012. Pedal Power welcomes $9 million in funding from the ACT Government for cycle projects

The Civic Cycle Loop project is one of several that will benefit from an $9 million injection in cycling infrastructure as announced by Minister Corbell on Tueday, 8 November 2011. Pedal Power first lobbied the Government on the Civic Cycle Loop in early 2009. Read all about it in the media release here.
