Ride to work or school in Canberra on May 11 with people from around the world and make your commute count.
Last year 79,879 people from 180 countries joined Strava’s Global Bike to Work Day.
Together they offset 514 tons of greenhouse emissions and joined the commuter revolution.
Help put Canberra on Strava’s data map for the 2017 Global Bike to Work Day this Thursday.
Participating is easy. Download Strava for free (if you don’t already use it), and record your ride to work on May 11th – tag it as a commute when you upload.
Strava will award you with a finisher’s badge and you will contribute to a global movement making the bicycle the future of transport.
Strava Metro will anonymise your commute data and share it with city planners worldwide to make riding better globally.
On a more local level, Canberra will celebrate National Ride to Work Day on October 18 this year. Circle the date on your calendar and get ready to celebrate even more ways to work cycling into your life in 2017.
