Pedal Power ACT’s 2017 Annual General Meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, 21 March.

Kate Auty, Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment in the ACT will provide a 20 minute address to Pedal Power ACT members prior to the AGM.

Kate’s address will provide insight as to how cycling can and should be an important element in generating a stronger and more sustainable ACT into the future.

A strong advocate for women’s cycling participation – because more women riding means safer conditions – Kate will draw the nexus between the bicycle and an environmentally friendly future for the ACT.

A short opportunity to ask questions will be provided prior to the more formal duties required of the AGM. All members are welcome.

The meeting will be held at the Southern Cross Club, Woden from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.

The election of the board and presentation of the annual Pedal Power ACT awards will occur at this meeting.
