Pedal Power ACT AGM – We need You!

News 0 140

Pedal Power ACT prides itself on its performance in so many aspects of the cycling recreation and transport sector. Across Australia in all sister organisations Pedal Power ACT has the highest membership per capita (in both state and capital data). We have engendered strong relationships with many stakeholders with the ACT and we have sought to provide the highest level of service to our members through events, rides, advocacy and representation for the bike riding community. Our insurance package has been compared to all other like organisations and we pride ourselves in offering the most comprehensive Personal Accident Insurance package available.

However we also believe that we can improve and become a stronger organisation, but to do so we may need your help. The Pedal Power ACT AGM will be held on Tuesday 16 February and we are looking for people that are able to offer their skills to the Council of Pedal Power ACT. If you are interested in being part of the team that will seek to deliver this organisation to the next level then we would encourage you to make contact with the organisation. All members are encouraged to attend the AGM as it provides an opportunity for you to gain an appraisal of the organisation over the past 12 months as well as have an influence on its officers and its direction.

The 2016 Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 16 February 2016 at the Southern Cross Club, Woden starting at 7:30 pm. You can download the agenda (for viewing or printing) together with a biography of those nominated for Council, the proxy and voting form for the meeting and the minutes of the last AGM.

The annual report for 2015 will be available for downloading before the meeting. Copies of the agenda and supporting documents, the minutes of the last AGM and the annual report will be available at the meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting, complete and submit a proxy and voting form.
