Online registrations for Fitz’s Challenge will close at midnight on October 27 2016, and members who enter online before this deadline will save up to $15 on their chosen challenge.
One of Canberra’s most famous cycling participation events – Fitz’s Challenge has a unique sense of community amongst participants and volunteers that sets it apart from other events.
“As a first time rider, I was blown away by the fantastic support from both the organisers and the race participants. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the event!” – Facebook user, Andras
“Great event, which caters to all levels of cyclists. With shorter 50 k rides for the recreational rider as well as 250 k rides for the more elite.” – Northern Sydney Cycling Club
“Holy moly what a day! Amazing effort and the biggest thank you to all the organisers and the volunteers at each check point! Made it so much more bearable!” – Facebook user, Alex
Fitz’s Challenge is also proud to support The Kids’ Cancer Project.
While not only challenging themselves by participating in the event, some riders also choose to fundraise for the charity. The top fundraiser at the moment has been able to fundraise over $3700. Although the event is just over three weeks away – it’s never too late to help – participants can set up a fundraising page at http://curekidscancer.org.au/event/fitzs2016.
When online registrations close at midnight on October 27, the only remaining opportunity for riders to register for the event will be on the day.
Registration prices are higher for on the day registrations.
