On Friday 25 November 2016 there will be two workmen on the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge footpath, lifting up pavers for inspection.
The aim is for work to be completed in one hour, however the contractor has allocated three hours just in case. Work will commencing at 10am and concluding at 1pm.
The contractor will install signage as per the footpath closure TTMs in place. He will do one side at a time, so the signage will be installed with two traffic controllers on either end of the path diverting pedestrians and bike riders. Once he has carried out the investigation, he will move over to the other footpath side and do the same.
The northern carriageway will be done first. The southern carriageway second.
A previous version of this post stated that these works would be carried out on 24 November, but this date has been revised due to visiting heads of state.
