Last Sunday the Intermediate and Fast Intermediate Wanderers groups did a combined ride to Collector and back.
They stopped at Lake George for a photo, given the presence of water in the lake
Sunday Wanderer rides are longer rides – generally 45 kms to over 100 kms – on sealed roads around the Canberra region. Each of the rides include a café stop.
Café stops will often include Gundaroo, Gunning, Murrumbateman, Bungendore, Queanbeyan, Tharwa or local wineries.
There are several categories of ride to choose from, ranging from First to Fast Wanderers. Riders with adequate fitness and stamina for the category are most welcome. That said, groups will wait for slower riders to catch up.
The Sunday Wanderer rides are normally timed to finish by around lunch time.
If you’re interested in joining one of these rides, you can get more information on the Sunday Wanderers page.
