Fitz’s is one of the toughest cycling participation rides in Australia – reaching the finish line for your chosen distance is all that matters.
Congratulations to over 1000 participants who rode in Fitz’s Challenge on Sunday 29 October this year.
Fitz’s is a personal challenge event, and not a race. Everyone who attempted the ride and gave their all is a winner.
If you’re the kind of person who likes to keep track of time, you can see the updated results from this year’s event at the Fitz’s website.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated or raised money for the Fitz’s Challenge charity partner, The Kids’ Cancer Project. At the time of publication, we have so far raised $19,262.00 to help kids affected by cancer.
The money raised will help kids like Orlando who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of brain cancer, at just eight months old. Funds will support the research program into this terrible disease.
Photos from the day are up now at Epsom Road Studios’ website, where riders can view and purchase photos of themselves participating in Canberra’s toughest participation ride.
One of the images captured by Epsom Road photographers on the day is featured below – three generations riding the Brindabellas together.
If you’re interested in participating in Fitz’s Challenge in 2018, you can sign up to this list to be notified when registrations open.
