Tillyard Drive Traffic Study

Featured News, News, Roads and infrastructure 1 104

The ACT Government is assessing the traffic issues on Tillyard Drive and surrounding streets in Charnwood, Flynn and Fraser.  The engineering firm AECOM has been engaged to undertake this study on behalf of the ACT Government.

The study will include a technical component analysing speed, volume and crash data, as well as consultation with local residents and the wider community.

An important part of this project is seeking feedback from local residents and the surrounding community about what issues there are and what improvements should be implemented. The community consultation program will be held in three stages.

Stakeholders can complete a survey to express their views and send it back to canberraconsult@aecom.com.au by 16 December 2016. Alternatively, you may complete an online version at www.yoursay.act.gov.au or email your comments tocanberraconsult@aecom.com.au.

Read more more information on the project and see the survey.

If you would like more information about the project please call AECOM on 6201 3000 or email canberraconsult@aecom.com

Oh great – another road to be wrecked with the third world solution: speedbumps (it’s the only thing our government knows). By installing speedbumps, the government is saying either the posted speed limit is inappropriate, or that motorists are no longer expected to obey the posted speed limit.
