The ACT Government will install 30 new drinking fountains in public places across Canberra, each one equipped with a water refill station in an effort to reduce use of disposable bottles and increase water consumption.
Ten new fountains with refill stations will be installed at pre-selected district and neighbourhood ovals. The remaining 20 fountains will be installed in areas with high levels of pedestrian activity. Have your say on where those 20 fountains should be located based on a shortlist of potential sites.
To have your say please complete the online survey. Alternatively, you can pick up a hardcopy survey from any ACT Libraries branch.
Consultation closes 5 pm Friday 16 May 2014. For more information visit www.timetotalk.act.gov.au.
