To celebrate Ride2Work Day 2013, Pedal Power will be hosting a festival in Garema Place,Civic.

Ride2Work Day is designed to celebrate and encourage individuals who commute to work via bicycle. You can either chose to host your own workplace breakfast or attend our FREE Pedal Power Festival on the day. Breakfast starts at 7am and will finish at 9am.

Come along and share some breakfast with other bike riders and while you are there you can have a bike fit, check out some of the bikes on display or share commuting stories over a cup of coffee.

Our key request is to ensure all cyclists register at www.Ride2Work.com.au and we would like to hear from all workplaces who are hosting their own breakfasts in Canberra. Get in touch by emailing projectmanager@pedalpower.org.au.

The Ride2Work Program is a nationally run, year round program that encourages thousands of Australians to get started and keep them riding to work.

It is designed to help people move from ‘contemplation’ to ‘action’ and establish the habit of riding to work. The Ride2Work research shows that the encouragement of friends, family and workmates is the best way to achieve this.

So ride your bike to work on October 16 and encourage your friends, family and colleagues to do the same.
