ACT cycling and walking map
The Canberra and Queanbeyan Cycling and Walking map (produced by the ACT Government) is free of charge and available from Pedal Power ACT office, bike shops and information points around Canberra.

Cycling directions in Google Maps
Google maps contain on and off road cycle path data for Canberra and Queanbeyan.
You can use Google Maps to plan trips by bicycle or a combination of bicycle and bus.
Google maps displays a suggested route (blue line) – that you can drag to other paths or roads – and all the community paths and on-road cycle lanes (in green).
Errors or omissions in Google Maps
Help keep Google Maps and directions up to date by advising any errors or omissions to Google via ‘report a problem’ at the bottom left hand corner of the map screen.
Cycle routes in Open Street Map
Open Street Map has the Canberra cycling routes fairly accurately described.
But it does not generate cycling directions.
Specific area maps
|Around Lake Burley Griffin cycling brochure and map – for the best half day cycle ride in Australia – produced by Australian Capital Tourism. It details the three basin loops around the lake, and the various attractions and activities visitors can enjoy while riding around the lake. The brochure is distributed through the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre, by operators around the lake, and is available online.National Arboretum visitor map and guide – includes the sealed and unsealed roads within the Arboretum and shows the location of key features including the village centre (with cafe) and the 100 forests. This is a great place to ride some hilly terrain with great views over Canberra and the surrounding countryside while inspecting the trees. Hard copies of the map are available at the National Arboretum visitors centre.|
