Report a Hazard

Report a Hazard or Maintenance Problem

To get hazards and maintenance problems fixed, eg potholes, tree root intrusions, overhanging branches, faded linemarking.

1. After reading this page, click on the hyperlink below to the ACT Government (Canberra Connect) form  and report the problem OR Telephone the ACT Government on 132281 (8am-8pm weekdays, 9am-5pm Saturday).  Phone for urgent hazards.

2. Choose  categories from the drop down lists, and provide accurate details about what and where the problem is.  Most importantly, you will be given a report reference number which you might note.  Keep details of the information you have provided (the on-line option lets you print your own report). You can also open an "account" where you can review your suggestions.

3. Allow reasonable time for the problem to be fixed.  Urban Services gives priority to the most serious hazards, so "reasonable time" will vary.  If nothing is happening after a reasonable period, try to follow up the issue yourself, to reduce the workload on Pedal Power volunteers.  If you still have no luck, volunteers will follow up the problem if you provide details including the report reference number to Advocacy at contact.

Click here to make a hazard or maintenance report or call 132281.

Note: In the Parliamentary Triangle and Anzac Parade only, responsibility rests with the National Capital Authority. The NCA's phone number is 62712888

In New South Wales members should follow the above procedures as closely as the systems of the relevant local authorities permit.
