Route: A return trip from Weston Park to the Mt Stromlo Observatory, via the Cotter Road and Mt Stromlo Road.

Description:
As for "Uriarra Crossing Ride" , but instead of turning right down Uriarra Rd go on along Cotter Road for another kilometre and then turn right up the road marked to Mt Stromlo Observatory. An energetic ride - but not too hard - to the top of this 782m mountain rewards you with beautiful views to the north and west. Better still since the Bushfires! However, the observatory, Cafe and Education centre are NOT open to the public as at Dec 1, 2008 when this page was edited.
