Description:
This is a long ride so take your time, ride a easy pace and eat and drink often.
From Sutton head south and take the ramp on to the Federal Highway. A short way along take care and turn Right across the Highway on to Mac's Reef Rd heading to Bungendore. At Bungendore, take a left to Tarago or detour up Gibraltar Street to the 7 day Bakery for a top up. Onwards through Tarago ( Shop & Water), Lake Bathurst, Tirranaville and head into Goulburn past the Showgrounds (Toilets).
For the route through Goulburn, the directions are turn left after the Showgrounds onto Bungonia Street, cross the railway line and head straight on for a block to Auburn Street. Turn right here and next left onto Addison Street. If you need food or water at this stage there are numerous shops a little way up Auburn Street. Follow Addison Street out of Goulburn. At about 103 km there is an important turn to the Left at Pomeroy Rd, on road sign posted [Gurrundah21/Dalton 61 ] Follow this stretch of road for another 16km to the top of range then turn Left to Bredalbane down the 8km downhill - Yahoo!! Turn left at the T Junction (Yes Left) till you meet up with the old Highway. Turn Right. Follow the old Highway to Gunning. A short way out of Gunning take the left to Gundaroo and follow this road through Belmount Forest, Gundaroo (toilets, water and shop) to Sutton and the end of the ride.
