April is shaping up to be a huge stall month for Pedal Power and we need your help to pull it off!
One of the reasons we are able to plan these stalls is the addition of Jordan Hull to the Pedal Power office team.
Jordan is our Membership and Community Organiser. She is passionate about making cycling accessible for everyone and addressing the barriers that stop people from getting on their bikes. She holds a degree in renewable energy and brings us her experience in climate activism.
“I’m excited to provide members with even more opportunities to get involved in our advocacy campaigns, social activities and helping spread the word about Pedal Power in our community” says Jordan.
Thanks to her efforts, in April Pedal Power will be out in the community almost every weekend. We’ll be talking to people about the benefits of cycling and Pedal Power membership, as well as providing services such as free bike storage at the Folk Festival and the Handmade Markets.
But none of this can be done without the help of many volunteers.
As a stall volunteer, we’d like you to engage with the public to help us promote Pedal Power’s membership options, advocacy effort and answering cycling questions. Staff members or experienced volunteers will be there at all times to provide guidance and support.

Folk Festival – Thursday 6 April – Monday 10 April
Shifts:
Thursday: 6pm – 10pm
Friday: 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 6pm and 6pm – 10pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 6pm and 6pm – 10pm
Sunday: 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 6pm and 6pm – 10pm
Monday: 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 6pm and 6pm – 10pm

Inspire Festival – Saturday 15 April
Shifts: 9:30am –11:30am, 11:30am – 1:30pm, 1:30pm – 3:30pm, 3:30pm – 4:30pm

5 Peak Challenge – Sunday 23 April
Shifts: TBD
Where: Stromlo Forest Park
Handmade markets – Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 April
Shifts:
Saturday: 9:30am – 11:30am (set up), 11:30am – 1:30pm, 1:30pm- 3:30pm, 3:30pm-4:30pm (pack down)
Sunday: 8:30am – 10:30am (set up), 10:30am – 12:30pm, 12:30pm – 2:30pm, 2:30pm – 4:30pm (pack down)

If you can help out on any of the stalls, please let Jordan (membership@pedalpower.org.au) know by specifying which stall, day and shift you’d prefer. Please nominate at least two shifts you can do in case your first choice is taken.
