The Fitz’s Corin Challenge: 130 km of beaming smiles and rolling hills

11 Aug 22 | By pp-admin | Fitzs, Pedal Power

Grades of 12%. 2250 metres of climbing. If these are numbers that make your heart sing, then the Corin Challenge is for you!

The Fitz’s Corin Challenge starts at Stromlo and heads out to Tharwa Village. From there, add on the ‘charmingly undulating’ Corin Road. On this stretch, you’ll enjoy about 13km of steady climb, passing the Woods Reserve camp and Gibraltar Falls before reaching your turnaround point at the Smokers Trail car park. From there, you might pause to give yourself a pat on the back before retracing your steps and descending Corin Road, and following Tidbinbilla Road back to the Cotter, before returning to Stromlo for a well-earned drink after conquering the iconic Fitz’s Challenge – Corin Challenge!
