Social Nights: Cycling the Sun Route: An Adventure from Prague to Copenhagen with John Widdup

This cycling adventure follows the EuroVelo 7 “Sun Route” but with a twist! In May–June 2024, John and his group of five set out from Prague, chasing not just the northern sun but also their passions. They detoured from the main route to discover hidden gems, experience local culture, and make the ride uniquely their own.

John’s presentation will cover everything from sourcing second-hand e-bikes and standard bikes, to navigating riding conditions, securing bikes, and staying well-fed and well-rested on the road. With flexible accommodation booked on the go (no camping this time!), it’s a practical deep dive into how to plan, and enjoy, a long-distance cycling trip.

Whether you're dreaming of your own cross-country ride or just love a good travel yarn, come along for the stories, the sights, and the inspiration.
