Join us for a special Pedal Power Social Night featuring an inside look at Mulligans Flat – one of Canberra’s most fascinating conservation areas, with unexpected cycling connections! 🌿🚴

Mulligans Flat Woodlands Sanctuary is the largest Yellow Box, Blakeys Red Gum Grassy Woodland in public ownership in Australia. It is free of feral animals and protected by an extensive predator proof fence. Located in the north of the ACT where Pedal Power members often cycle the fringes but can also cycle through the Sanctuary and have coffee at Wildbark Cafe.

The volunteers' presentation will include the history of the area, why the Sanctuary was established, how it is managed and what is happening. It will also give details of what folk can expect when visiting the Sanctuary. Questions and discussion will be welcome following the presentation.
