What do recycling, geocaching and cycling have in common? For long-time Pedal Power member Sep Westerhuis, they’re all part of helping make Canberra a little greener.

Join us for our next Pedal Power Social Evening as Sep shares how he has combined his love of cycling with practical efforts to care for the ACT environment.

Over the past several years, Sep has spent time on his bike collecting bottles and cans for recycling while travelling around Canberra. More recently, he has added geocaching to his cycling adventures, giving him another reason to get out on two wheels and explore the ACT.

In his talk, Helping the Environment on Your Bicycle, Sep will share some of his experiences and the simple ways cycling can be combined with looking after our local environment.

He hopes his story will inspire others to get on their bikes, explore Canberra and find their own ways to make a positive difference along the way.

Whether you're interested in bike touring, folding bikes, or simply enjoy a good travel story with plenty of humour, this promises to be an entertaining evening for cyclists of all kinds.
