Two Wheels to Adventure: Ride around the lake

Pedal Power ACT is proud to be leading a ride following the National Library of Australia's talk 'Two wheels to adventure: Tony Wheeler and Daniel Oakman on bikes and why we love them'.

Following the talk, we will be inviting all attendees to join us on a ride around beautiful Lake Burley Griffin. Register your interest below to take part in the ride.

Prior to the ride, join Tony Wheeler (founder of Lonely Planet) and historian Dr Daniel Oakman in conversation with the Library’s Rebecca Fleming as they draw on the incredible Library collection to discuss all things cycling.

From small commutes to epic journeys, home-made contraptions to technical wizardry, come and hear why cycling remains one of the world’s most popular and enjoyable methods of travel, and how it’s continuing to evolve.

📅 Please note you will need to book separately for the talk here.

📅 And to book the ride with us go here.
