Fitability Heads to the Mudgee Classic

Fitability is a valued part of the Pedal Power community that helps make cycling accessible by pairing riders together on tandem bikes. This allows people who may not be able to ride independently to experience the joy, freedom and social connection that cycling brings.
Fitability has received a 2025 Hireup Impact Grant, which will support the team’s participation in the Mudgee Cycle Classic on Sunday 3 May. Hireup is a disability and aged care support provider that funds initiatives promoting inclusion and independence.
This year, six Fitability tandems will be heading to Mudgee for the event. Some riders will take on the 120 km course, while others will ride the 65 km route.
In the lead-up to the event, the group will be training together and getting plenty of practice riding as a team. While in Mudgee, they will also connect with other tandem cycling groups, creating a great opportunity to share experiences and celebrate inclusive cycling.
