Get the kids rolling with school run bingo!
A helmet check, a funny-shaped cloud and a bike with a brand-new nickname could all feature on your child’s school run this October.
To celebrate Ride Safely to School Week, 26–30 October 2026, Pedal Power is inviting primary school children and their families to take on our bingo challenge, with a $100 Rebel gift voucher up for grabs.
The card features 16 activities to complete throughout the week. Some encourage good habits, such as checking helmets with a grown-up and parking and locking bikes neatly. Others invite kids to explore their surroundings, from spotting animals and colourful flowers to listening for different sounds.
We’ve created the challenge to support the ACT Government’s Ride Safely to School Week and give families a fun way to practise safe riding together. For parents and carers, it’s an opportunity to help children build confidence on their bikes or scooters and enjoy spending time outdoors on the journey to school.
Download and print the card, then help your child tick off the activities as you go. You can share it with your school or other families who might like to join in.
How to enter the prize draw
Complete all 16 squares, then ask a parent or carer to email the completed card to office@pedalpower.org.au before 5pm Friday 30 October 2026.
Safety comes first: children must ride with a grown-up and wear a helmet every time. Always stop somewhere safe before looking for clues.
