National Ride2Work Day - Ride to Work, Leave your Mark

Join a Group Ride for National Ride2Work Day – October 15

Thinking about commuting by bike but not sure where to start? Already a regular rider and want to celebrate with your community? Join us on National Ride2Work Day by taking part in one of Pedal Power’s Group Rides into the City Centre, finishing at our Community Breakfast in Veteran’s Park.

These rides are designed to support both new and experienced commuters—whether it’s your first time riding into the city or your hundredth. Led by friendly and experienced local volunteers, each ride offers a safe, welcoming way to get rolling.

Why Join a Group Ride?

Learn the Best Routes
If you’re unsure about how to navigate your way into the city, this is the perfect opportunity to learn. Our ride leaders will guide you from your local suburb using bike-friendly routes, helping you feel confident about commuting on your own in the future.

Connect With Local Riders
Each group ride is led by a commuter from your area so joining a ride means you’ll meet other cyclists from your community. And who knows? It might even inspire a regular "bike bus" for your daily commute!

Enjoy a Free Community Breakfast
All rides finish at Veteran’s Park, where you’re invited to join our Community Breakfast from 7:00–9:00am. We’ll have free fruit and pastries, discounted coffee, and a lively atmosphere with music and good vibes to celebrate National Ride to Work Day.

Want to Lead a Ride?

If you’re a confident rider and don’t see a group starting from your area, we’d love your help! Email membership@pedalpower.org.au with a suggested meeting point and a screenshot of that point on Google Maps, and we’ll help set you up as a ride leader.

Don’t want to join a Ride?

The point of National Ride2Work Day is to celebrate healthy and sustainable commutes together in solidarity. If you want to ride solo that’s great. If you want to join us at the breakfast, we would love to have you, but what matters is that we are all riding to work together, representing cyclists everywhere.
