Ride2Work Day - Put Your Ride on the Map 🚲

Put Your Ride on the Map for National Ride2Work Day

This year, Pedal Power is making it easier than ever to join in National Ride2Work Day on Wednesday 15 October 2025 - and it all starts with our interactive ride map.

Whether you’re a seasoned commuter or someone who simply loves sharing the joy of cycling, you can put your ride on the map for others to discover. The process is simple:

  • Register as a ride leader and tell us where you’d like to meet people on the morning.

  • We’ll add your ride to the Google map.

  • Participants can then sign up to join your group, and we’ll connect you with each other so you know who’s coming along.

Why lead a ride?

Leading a ride isn’t about being the fastest cyclist — it’s about showing others how easy and enjoyable it can be. For first-timers, knowing there’s a friendly guide makes all the difference. For you, it’s a chance to spark someone else’s cycling journey, share tips, and maybe even form lasting riding friendships.

Other ways to join in

  • Ride as a group: Rally your colleagues, neighbours, or friends, choose a meeting spot, and head in together.

  • Join a listed ride: Check the map, pick the starting point that suits you, and ride into Civic with your chosen group. More rides will be added as the day approaches, so keep an eye out.

A celebration in Civic

All rides will converge on the city, where we’re planning a community breakfast at Veterans Park from 7:00 am - more details soon.

Whether you’re leading, joining, or simply curious, National Ride2Work Day is a chance to try something new, connect with others, and enjoy the best way to start your day - on two wheels.

If you’d like to add your ride to the map or help make the event a success, get in touch at membership@pedalpower.org.au.
