Pedal Power Christmas Party and Volunteer Awards

On the 16th of December, Pedal Power came together at Lennox Gardens for our annual Christmas Party, celebrating an incredible year and wrapping up our 50th anniversary in true Pedal Power style. From 5–8pm, around 30 members gathered for a relaxed, picnic-style evening filled with good food, great company, and festive cheer.

Guests brought plates to share, creating a vibrant community picnic that reflected Pedal Power’s strong focus on connection and inclusivity. One of the night’s standout moments was a surprise visit from Santa, who arrived by tandem bike alongside his favourite elf (proof that even Santa loves to cycle)!

This year, our gift exchange took a more sustainable turn with a Kris Kringle featuring handmade, preloved, or thrifted gifts. The result was a wonderfully creative and thoughtful exchange, with plenty of laughs and impressive finds, highlighting our shared commitment to sustainability. A big thank you to everyone who participated and brought such generous gifts.

We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to Clauda Cresswell, David Vanzetti, and Kevin Graham for their hard work organising the event; it wouldn’t have been possible without you! Finally, congratulations to the recipients of our 2025 Volunteer Awards, which were presented on the night. We’re incredibly grateful for all our volunteers and proud to recognise those who consistently go above and beyond.
